Focus and Scope

Diwan: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Arab a peer-reviewed journal on Arabic Linguistic in the world. This journal is published by the Arabic Literature Department, Faculty of Adab and Humaniora, Alauddin State Islamic University of Makassar. Editors welcome scholars, researchers and practitioners of Arabic literature around the world to submit scholarly articles to be published through this journal. All articles will be reviewed by experts before accepted for publication. Each author is solely responsible for the content of published articles. This journal encompasses original research articles, review articles, and short communications, including: Arabic Linguistic Arabic Literature Arabic History Arabic Islamic Culture Modern Standard Arabic Arabic Second Language Acquisition

Peer Review Process

The research article submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed at least 1 (one) reviewer. The accepted research articles will be available online following the journal peer-reviewing process. Language used in this journal is Arabic, English, and Bahasa.


Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. This journal is open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or / institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full text articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or author. This is in accordance with Budapest Open Access Initiative.


Publication Fee

Diwan: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Arab is an open access journal. Since manuscript submission year 2015, Authors should not pay some processing fees (Free Charges) for article processing and DOI maintenance once their articles has been accepted. And readers can read and download any full-text articles for free of charge.
