Shautuna: Jurnal Ilmiah Mahasiswa Perbandingan Mazhab focuses on academic research that examines the interaction between Islamic law , national law, and customary law (hukum adat) within both Indonesian and global contexts. This journal welcomes scholarly works that analyze comparative perspectives among Islamic schools of thought (madhhab), the harmonization between Islamic and national legal systems, and the dynamics of living customary law in society. It also encourages studies on contemporary fatwas, gender and family issues, social justice, maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah, legal reform, and legal pluralism as they relate to both local and international developments in Islamic law. By emphasizing comparative and contextual approaches, Shautuna: Jurnal Ilmiah Mahasiswa Perbandingan Mazhab aims to foster integrative, plural, and humanistic interpretations of Islamic law that are relevant to Indonesia’s legal diversity and the broader global discourse on Islamic jurisprudence.
