The fisheries sector plays a strategic role in the Indonesian economy; however, access to formal financing, particularly Sharia-compliant (Islamic) financing, remains relatively limited. This study aims to analyze the influence of Third Party Funds (DPK), Sharia Financing for the Fisheries Sector, and Non-Performing Finance (NPF) on the welfare of fish-farming fishermen in South Sulawesi, as measured by the Fish-Farming Fishermen's Terms of Trade (NTNP). This research adopts a quantitative approach by applying the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) to test the long-run and short-run relationships among the variables. The analysis utilizes monthly time series data covering the period from January 2017 to July 2024, obtained from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The results indicate that NPF has a significant effect on NTNP in both the long run and the short run. DPK is found to have a significant influence in the long run, whereas Sharia financing is only significantly influential in the short run. These findings suggest that the Islamic Blue Banking variables are more relevant in affecting NTNP in the long term, while the short-run relationship among the variables has not yet demonstrated a strong statistical linkage.
