LEADERSHIP OF RURAL VILLAGE HEADS CONCRETIZATION OF SECURITY AND CONDITION
Abstract
In general, security and order issues in our country can still be effectively addressed, yet crime rates continue to occur, as well as conflicts and clashes. Even brawls between students and university students add to the conflicts that disturb public security and order. In addition, besides crowded places, security and order disturbances also occur in rural areas as well. The crimes include gambling, adultery, alcohol, drug, etc. Thus, the roles and responsibilities of the government and the community are urgently required in an effort to create a safe and orderly community environment. The realization of an environment free of various threats and security and order disruptions begins in rural areas as a form of authority and function of the village government, which serves as the spearhead and proceeds to the higher government and is fully supported by community participation. In this case, the village chief's role and responsibility in creating a safe and orderly rural community environment can be achieved through village chief leadership models and strategies.
