PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN SHOPEEPAYLATER, SOSIAL MEDIA DAN GAYA HIDUP HEDONIS TERHADAP PERILAKU KONSUMTIF (ISRAF) MAHASISWA MUSLIM SURABAYA

Abstrak
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh Penggunaan ShopeePayLater, Sosial Media, dan Gaya Hidup Hedonis terhadap perilaku konsumtif (israf) mahasiswa Muslim di Surabaya. Istilah israf digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebagai pendekatan Islam terhadap perilaku konsumtif yang berlebihan dan melampaui batas kewajaran menurut syariat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan data primer yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 120 mahasiswa Muslim. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari Penggunaan ShopeePayLater, Sosial Media, dan Gaya Hidup Hedonis terhadap perilaku konsumtif (israf) mahasiswa Muslim di Surabaya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor ekonomi dan sosial, tetapi juga memiliki relevansi penting dalam perspektif etika Islam, khususnya terkait larangan israf dalam Al-Qur’an.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of ShopeePayLater usage, social media, and a hedonistic lifestyle on the consumptive behavior (israf) of Muslim students in Surabaya. The term israf is used in this research as an Islamic perspective on excessive consumption that goes beyond reasonable limits according to sharia. This study employs a quantitative method with primary data collected through questionnaires. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with a total of 120 Muslim student respondents. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression tests. The results show that ShopeePayLater usage, social media, and a hedonistic lifestyle have a significant influence on the consumptive behavior (israf) of Muslim students in Surabaya. These findings indicate that students' consumptive behavior is not only influenced by economic and social factors but also has important relevance from the perspective of Islamic ethics, particularly regarding the prohibition of israf in the Qur'an.
