Abstract
This study explores the human resource (HR) selection process within the framework of Sharia management by highlighting the Islamic perspective on employee recruitment and talent acquisition. From an Islamic viewpoint, HR selection extends beyond technical skills and academic qualifications to include ethical and spiritual dimensions. This research aims to examine the concept of HR selection in Islam, identify Sharia-based values that underpin recruitment and selection practices, and assess their relevance in contemporary organizational settings. A qualitative approach is employed using a literature review method, drawing upon classical and modern sources related to Islamic human resource management. The findings reveal that HR selection in Sharia management emphasizes a balanced integration of professional capability and moral integrity, as reflected in the principles of al-quwwah and al-amānah. The application of these principles contributes to the formation of human resources who are competent, ethical, and aligned with Islamic values, thereby supporting sustainable organizational performance.
