Abstract

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pertanggungjawaban hukum terhadap peristiwa kebakaran sumur minyak ilegal di Desa Gandu, Kecamatan Bogorejo, Kabupaten Blora, dengan fokus pada penanganan yang dilakukan oleh Kepolisian Resor Blora. Aktivitas pengeboran minyak ilegal tidak hanya melanggar ketentuan hukum, tetapi juga menimbulkan risiko kebakaran yang membahayakan keselamatan masyarakat dan lingkungan. Studi kasus ini mengkaji proses penyelidikan, dasar hukum yang digunakan, serta bentuk pertanggungjawaban pidana pelaku berdasarkan KUHP, UU Migas, dan UU Lingkungan Hidup. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Polres Blora telah menerapkan langkah penegakan hukum melalui penyidikan, penetapan tersangka, dan penerapan pasal yang relevan untuk memberikan efek jera dan mencegah kejadian serupa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze legal accountability for the illegal oil well fire incident in Gandu Village, Bogorejo District, Blora Regency, focusing on the handling of the incident by the Blora Police. Illegal oil drilling activities not only violate legal provisions but also pose a fire risk that endangers public safety and the environment. This case study examines the investigative process, the legal basis used, and the forms of criminal liability of the perpetrators under the Criminal Code, the Oil and Gas Law, and the Environmental Law. The results indicate that the Blora Police have implemented law enforcement measures through investigations, suspect determination, and the application of relevant articles to provide a deterrent effect and prevent similar incidents.
