Abstrak
Jurnal ini membahas tafsir tematik mengenai emas dan perak dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an dan hadis serta relevansinya terhadap ekonomi syariah kontemporer. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada pentingnya memahami posisi emas dan perak sebagai simbol kekayaan, alat tukar, instrumen investasi, dan objek zakat dalam Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an dan hadis yang berkaitan dengan emas dan perak, memahami pandangan para mufasir, serta mengkaji implementasinya dalam sistem ekonomi modern. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan melalui analisis tafsir, hadis, buku ekonomi Islam, dan jurnal ilmiah terbaru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa emas dan perak dalam Islam tidak hanya dipandang sebagai komoditas ekonomi, tetapi juga memiliki dimensi moral dan spiritual. Islam melarang penimbunan emas dan perak tanpa distribusi sosial melalui zakat dan infak. Selain itu, emas dan perak dipandang memiliki stabilitas nilai yang lebih baik dibandingkan uang fiat modern. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa konsep emas dan perak dalam Al-Qur’an dan hadis memiliki relevansi besar terhadap stabilitas ekonomi, keadilan distribusi kekayaan, dan penguatan sistem ekonomi syariah kontemporer.

Abstract
This paper discusses the thematic exegesis (tafsir) of gold and silver from the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith, as well as its relevance to contemporary Sharia economics. The background of the research is based on the importance of understanding the position of gold and silver as symbols of wealth, mediums of exchange, investment instruments, and objects of zakat in Islam. This study aims to analyze the verses of the Qur'an and Hadith related to gold and silver, understand the views of exegetes (mufasir), and examine their implementation in the modern economic system.
The method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature review approach through the analysis of tafsir, hadith, Islamic economics books, and the latest scientific journals.
The research results show that gold and silver in Islam are not only viewed as economic commodities but also possess moral and spiritual dimensions. Islam prohibits the hoarding of gold and silver without social distribution through zakat and infaq. Furthermore, gold and silver are considered to have better value stability compared to modern fiat money. The conclusion of this study confirms that the concepts of gold and silver in the Qur'an and Hadith carry great relevance to economic stability, justice in wealth distribution, and the strengthening of the contemporary Sharia economic system.
