Strategi Pembina Dalam Meningkatkan Hafalan Santri Pada Madrasah Hafizh Qur'an El-Shahabi Kabupaten Gowa

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the mentor's strategy and the results of the mentor's evaluation in improving students' memorization at the El-Shahabi Qur'an Hafizh Madrasah in Gowa Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods collected through observation, interviews with four mentors and two female students, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity is tested through source triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the mentor's strategy in improving students' memorization is implemented in a structured, gradual manner, and adjusted to the abilities of each student. The strategy includes identifying the initial abilities of prospective female students, grouping students into Iqra' and tahsin groups, implementing the Kaisa method, meeting memorization targets, and providing motivation. This strategy shows that the development of Al-Qur'an memorization does not only focus on the number of memorizations, but also emphasizes the quality of reading, accuracy of tajwid, and memorization maintenance through a directed process. Supervisor evaluation is carried out continuously through daily evaluations, monthly evaluations, and semester exams to monitor the progress of students' memorization, and identify obstacles faced, as well as determine appropriate coaching steps.
