Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in children in Indonesia. One of the symptoms of cancer in children is pain and swelling in the bones, legs or hands without trauma or infection. A parent's lack of knowledge about cancer pain management can worsen a child's condition. Therefore, it is important to conduct pain management education, especially non-pharmacological ones that can be applied by parents. Community Service activities aim to increase parents' knowledge about pain management in children. Community service was carried out in the Pinang 1 Care Room of Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital with a face-to-face education method for 30 minutes, ending with an interactive evaluation. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge, characterized by active participation and the ability to answer questions correctly. These findings reinforce the effectiveness of face-to-face education in improving parental knowledge, as well as affirm the important role of face-to-face education in pain management. This intervention can be replicated as an educational strategy in lowering the scale of pain.
