Introduction: Chronic insomnia is characterized by a state of physiological hyperarousal, where the autonomic nervous system remains in persistent sympathetic dominance even at rest. Non-pharmacological interventions capable of addressing this imbalance through clear physiological pathways are required. Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of specific-dose tactile infrasonic vibrations in reducing physiological hyperarousal in insomnia patients and to identify the optimal stimulation duration. Methods: This study is designed as a True Experimental research using a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) design and a Dose-Response approach. The protocol is planned to involve participants (n=18-30) randomly assigned into three groups: Low Dose (15 minutes), High Dose (30 minutes), and Sham Control (sub-threshold vibration). Physiological hyperarousal is projected to be measured through Heart Rate Variability (HRV), specifically the RMSSD parameter. Results: Based on literature synthesis and data modeling, baseline RMSSD is predicted to be homogeneous (25–26 ms). Post-intervention, the High Dose group is projected to significantly increase RMSSD to 45.8 ms (Δ+19.7 ms), outperforming the Low Dose (32.1 ms) and Sham Control (26.2 ms) groups. Modeling indicates significant differences between groups (F=28.41; p<0.001), supporting the hypothesis of a dose-specific effect. Conclusion: This conceptual study demonstrates that, theoretically, 15 Hz tactile infrasonic vibration has the potential to significantly reduce physiological hyperarousal with an optimal duration of 30 minutes. This intervention shows promise as a non-pharmacological therapeutic alternative for insomnia that warrants validation through empirical clinical trials.
