THE UTILIZATION OF WEB-BASED EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM AT IBNUL QAYYIM MAKASSAR INTEGRATED ISLAMIC SCHOOL
Abstract
The objective of this study is to describe the utilization of the Management Information System at Sekolah Islam Terpadu Ibnul Qayyim Makassar. This research employs a qualitative approach, focusing on an in-depth understanding of individuals' subjective experiences related to the observed phenomenon. The data sources consist of primary data obtained through in-depth interviews with the school principal and the IQIS system operator, direct observations of system usage, and secondary data in the form of document analysis. Data validity is ensured through triangulation. Data analysis is conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the web-based Management Information System significantly supports and benefits educational data management at IQIS Makassar, making a substantial contribution to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of educational management. This study is expected to contribute to the development of educational management information systems at IQIS and similar institutions while providing insights into the critical role of information technology in enhancing the quality of educational management.
