The purpose of this study is to provide in-depth development related to the development of the concept of Islamic educational supervision through the concept of tahqiq William C. Chittick. This study uses a qualitative type, namely its use as an effort to describe an event and the data that has been collected. The research approach used is library research (literature study), conceptual data processing and theoretical facts. This study also uses primary and secondary data sources and data collection techniques involving literature studies, editing, organizing and finding. The data analysis technique uses three mechanisms: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and data verification. In testing the validity of the data using source triangulation, time triangulation and technical triangulation as verification of data validity. The results of this study explain that tahqiq can be a concept in building Islamic educational supervision, providing a positive impact by instilling deeper Islamic values transcendentally as well as negative impacts explained in the imbalance of the soul and the release of material interests of the Supervisor. The implications are the need for improvements to our education in Indonesia, starting from the method and structure down to the top. In this way, transcendental values and values in society as shared morals can be seen to be anthropocosmic supervision.
