This study aims to analyze the implementation of transformational leadership by the madrasah principal in improving teacher performance at Madrasah Aliyah GUPPI Samata, Gowa Regency. Transformational leadership, focusing on idealized influence, inspirational motivation, and intellectual stimulation, is considered an effective model for driving change and innovation in educational institutions. The observed phenomena indicate challenges related to teacher professionalism and active participation in school activities. This qualitative research, using a case study approach, employed observation, interviews, and documentation techniques to collect data. The findings show that the principal consistently implemented the three components of transformational leadership, which had a positive impact on improving teacher performance and the overall quality of the madrasah. Through a clear vision, motivation, and encouragement for self-development, the principal succeeded in creating a synergistic, productive, and innovative work environment.
