This study aims to analyze the influence of clinical supervision and teacher work motivation on teacher performance in private Islamic senior high schools (Madrasah Aliyah Swasta) throughout Somba Opu District, both partially and simultaneously. This study employed a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design. The participants consisted of teachers from five private Islamic senior high schools, selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through closed-ended questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results indicate that clinical supervision has a positive and statistically significant effect on teacher performance. Work motivation also has a positive and statistically significant effect on teacher performance. Simultaneously, clinical supervision and work motivation have a statistically significant effect on teacher performance, with a significance level of p < 0.001. The coefficient of determination of 38.1% indicates that the two variables explain 38.1% of the variance in teacher performance, while the remaining 61.9% is attributable to other factors outside the research model. These findings suggest that improving teacher performance requires synergy between professional development through clinical supervision and the enhancement of work motivation. Therefore, school principals should implement supervision in a planned, collaborative, and continuous manner, while fostering a supportive work environment, recognizing teachers’ achievements, and providing opportunities for professional development. These efforts are expected to improve the quality of teaching and strengthen teachers’ professionalism in private Islamic senior high schools.
