This study aims to analyze the influence of future anxiety on students’ demand for organizational experience at UIN Alauddin Makassar. Social changes and increasingly competitive demands in the labor market have exposed students to uncertainty about the future, which may influence their self-development behaviors, including involvement in student organizations. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The sample consisted of 98 students from the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training and the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, selected using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression with the assistance of JAMOVI version 2.6.44. The results showed that future anxiety had a positive and significant effect on students’ demand for organizational experience, with a regression coefficient of 1.07 and a significance level of p-value < 0.001. These findings indicate that higher levels of future anxiety encourage students to seek organizational experience as a means of preparing themselves for the future. This study implies that student organizations can serve as an adaptive platform to help students manage future anxiety while developing non-academic competencies.
