Penerapan Arsitektur Hijau pada Perancangan Ulang Rumah Potong Hewan di Kabupaten Bulukumba

The Slaughterhouse in Bulukumba Regency needs to be redesigned to compete and meet growing market demand. To minimize both micro and macro environmental impacts, the principle of nature integrity is prioritized in this design, given the potential pollution and waste from the production process. To achieve harmony with nature, the green architecture approach emphasizes energy efficiency, climate responsiveness, resource reduction, and enhancing user safety and comfort. This study uses field observations and literature research to gather primary and secondary data on the building's condition and its functional requirements. It is expected that this design will result in a more efficient, environmentally friendly facility capable of meeting increasing market demand by applying green architecture principles, such as natural ventilation systems, knockdown construction, and eco-friendly materials, that support the slaughterhouse's sustainability and operational efficiency.
