<h3>Peer Review Process</h3>
Every manuscript submitted to Al-Qadau: Jurnal Peradilan dan Hukum Keluarga Islam is independently reviewed by at least two reviewers in the form of "peer-review" to increase the quality of the articles. The decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is mostly based upon their reports or recommendations. In certain cases, the editor may submit an article for review to another third reviewer before making a decision, if necessary.&nbsp;
Each article sent will be evaluated on the basis of the following considerations:

<li class="show">The results of scientific work are the work of the Original</li>
<li class="show">Conformity between methodologies and research topics</li>
<li class="show">Have a good analysis</li>
<li class="show">The ability to communicate with readers</li>
<li class="show">Based on the recommendations of the reviewer</li>
<li class="show">The normal time for screening and evaluation of manuscripts is four to six months from the date of receipt</li>
<li class="show">Articles submitted to Samarah: Jurnal Hukum Keluarga dan Hukum Islam can use Indonesian, English, or Arabic. However, abstracts must be in Indonesian and English.</li>

Duties of the Publisher
As the publisher of the journal, Jurusan Hukum Keluarga Islam UIN Alauddin Makassar must stand as guardian of the scholarly papers published by the journal. The publisher must fully support the huge efforts made by the editors. As a peer-reviewed journal, the publisher must establish solid communication with the reviewers.
The publisher should have relationships with other institutions in the field. Besides, we must also provide editors with technical, procedural, and legal support. And the most important thing is to educate authors and researchers on publishing ethics.
 Duties of the Editors
Publication Decision
The editor of the journal is solely and independently responsible for deciding which articles submitted to the journal should be published.&nbsp;
Peer-Review
The editor shall ensure that the peer review process is fair, unbiased, and timely. Research articles must typically be reviewed by at least two external and independent reviewers. The editor must maintain good communication with reviewers.
Fair Play
The editor should evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.
The editor shall use the journal\'s standard electronic submission system for all journal communications.
The editor shall establish, along with the publisher, a transparent mechanism for appeals against editorial decisions.
Duties of the Reviewers
Contribution to Editorial Decisions
Peer review assists the editor in making editorial decisions, and through the editorial communications with the author, it may also assist the author in improving the paper. Peer review is an essential component of formal scholarly communication and lies at the heart of the scientific method.
Confidentiality
Reviewers must keep the received papers as confidential documents. They must not share the review or information about the paper with anyone or contact the author directly without permission from the editor.&nbsp;
Standard of Objectivity and Competing Interests
Reviews should be conducted objectively. Reviewers should be aware of any personal bias they may have and take this into account when reviewing a paper. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Referees should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
If a reviewer suggests that an author include citations to the reviewer\'s (or the associates\') work, this must be for genuine scientific reasons and not with the intention of increasing the reviewer\'s citation count or enhancing the visibility of their work (or that of their associates).&nbsp;
Duties of Authors
The author must ensure that his or her manuscript does not infringe any copyright laws and must indemnify the editors and publisher against any copyright infringement. It is the responsibility of the authors to obtain permission to use copyrighted material and provide such evidence upon submitting the manuscript.

1) The Content of the Manuscript

<li class="show">The word limit for the submission is&nbsp;4000-8000 words&nbsp;(including of footnotes and abstract).&nbsp;</li>
<li class="show">The sequence of manuscripts following:&nbsp;Title; Abstract; Keywords; Introduction; Method&nbsp;(for original research articles);&nbsp;Main Heading Analysis; Conclusion;&nbsp;and&nbsp;References.</li>
<li class="show">Each article will go through a plagiarism check using the Turnitin app. If the article has more than 25% similarity, it will be returned to the author.</li>
<li class="show">Referencing style uses&nbsp;<a href="http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide/citation-guide-1.html">the Chicago Manual of Style</a>.</li>

2) The&nbsp;Guidelines for the&nbsp;Manuscript&nbsp;Body Text
The title of the manuscript:&nbsp;The title should be informative and be written both briefly and clearly.&nbsp;
Introduction:&nbsp;The introduction must contain (shortly and consecutively) a general background and a literature review (state of the art) as the basic of the brand new research question, statements of the brand new scientific article, main research problems, and the hypothesis. In the final part of the introduction, the purpose of the article writing should be stated. In the scientific article format, it does not allow to write down the references as in the research report. They should be represented in the literature review to show the brand new of the scientific article.
Methods:&nbsp;The method is implemented to solve problems, including analytic methods. The methods used in the problem solving of the research are explained in this part.
Result &amp; Discussion:&nbsp;This part consists of the research results and how they are discussed. The results obtained from the research have to be supported by sufficient data.&nbsp; The research results and the discovery must be the answers or the research hypothesis stated previously in the introduction part.
Conclusion:&nbsp;This is the final part containing conclusions and advices. The conclusions will be the answers of the hypothesis, the research purposes and the research discoveries. The conclusions should not contain only the repetition of the results and discussions. It should be the summary of the research results as the author expects in the research purposes or the hypothesis. The advices contain suggestions associated with further ideas from the research.
References: All the references that used in the article must be listed in this part. In this part, all the used references must be citing from primary sources (scientific journals and the least number is 80% from all the references). Each article should has at least 15 references.',

Versi yang sudah dicopyedit kemudian diunggah, dan editor diberitahu. Editor kemudian mereview teks dan memberitahu penulis. Editor dan penulis harus membuat perubahan yang terbaik. Jika perubahan selanjutnya dianggap perlu, editor dan penulis dapat membuat perubahan ke penyisipan awal dan penghapusan, serta penyisipan dan penghapusan dimanapun di teks. Penulis dan editor harus merespon kepada masing-masing pertanyaan yang ditujukan kepada mereka, dengan respon ditempatkan di dalam tanda kurung besar.
