Author Guidelines

Guidelines for online submission:

  1. The author should first register on the website 
  2. Once the author is registered, please log in to the website and submit the article through online submission (with the status of active submissions).
  3. The article should follow the standard template of the journal provided on the website.
  4. The citation and bibliography should follow the Turabian citation style.
  5. The author is restricted from sending his/her article to another journal before having confirmation from the editorial team (approximately 4 weeks right after the article is submitted).
  6. The author should follow editorial decisions and recommendations related to the article's completion. All reviews and assessments will be informed through online submission.

Articles submitted to the JICeL editorial board must follow these guidelines:

  1. The article should be based on scientific research in the determined fields;
  2. The article must be an original work and have not been previously published.
  3. The article should be written in English.
  4. The article must be typed in one-half space on A4-paper;
  5. The article’s length is about 6,000–10,000 words; however, both shorter and longer manuscripts will be considered.
  6. All submissions must include a 150-200 word abstract;
  7. The abstract should be written in English.
  8. The full name(s) of the author(s) must be stated, along with his/her/institution and complete address;
  9. All submissions should be in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format;
  10. Bibliographical references must be noted in proper ways. In addition, it is suggested for the author(s) to use reference manager tools such as Mendeley or  Zotero
