This study aims to describe the implementation of collaboration between teachers and parents in developing the literacy skills of the first-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah Condongcatur through management functions (planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling). This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results indicated that well-planned collaboration, executed by setting mutual targets, synchronizing literacy media between school and home, and maintaining intensive communication through communication books and digital media, effectively accelerated students' literacy development. Challenges such as parents' time constraints and the heterogeneity of students' initial abilities were mitigated through individualized mentoring and routine evaluations. This study contributes theoretically and practically by offering an integrative partnership management model (teachers as academic facilitators and parents as habituation mentors) that can be replicated to optimize early literacy programs in community-based elementary schools.
