Pengaruh Dosis Klorin terhadap Total Coliform Wai Sauq Bantaran Sungai Mandar

Wai Sauq merupakan salah satu sumber air bersih dan diminum langsung melalui filtrasi secara alami oleh warga. Salah satu pencemaran secara mikrobiologis yang terjadi yaitu melimpahnya bakteri coliform. Bakteri E.Coli dan fecal coliforms merupakan bagian terkecil dari total coliforms yang digunakan sebagai indikator dimana bakteri tersebut dapat menjadi sinyal untuk menentukan suatu sumber air telah terkontaminasi oleh patogen atau tidak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah total coliform di Wai Sauq di Bantaran Sungai Mandar. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengambilan sampel, survey lapangan, pengujian di lapangan menggunakan chlorinediffuser serta analisis di laboratorium. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan semakin tinggi dosis klorin maka semakin rendah jumlah total colifrom yang ada di Wau Sauq Bantaran Sungai Mandar.
