Hubungan Personal Hygiene dan Pemakaian Alat Pelindung Diri dengan Kejadian Gejala Penyakit Kulit Pada Pemulung di TPA Suwung Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan Bali

Penyakit kulit adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh bakteri, virus, jamur, investasi oleh parasit dan reaksi alergi. Faktor yang berperan dalam penularan penyakit kulit adalah personal hygiene dan penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan personal hygiene dan pemakaian alat pelindung diri dengan kejadian gejala penyakit kulit pada pemulung di TPA Suwung Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan Bali. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dengan menggunakan metode observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 140 orang Pemulung. Menggunakan instrument penelitian berupa kuisioner. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa berdasarkan hasil uji chi-square yang dilakukan menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan antara personal hygiene dengan kejadian gejala penyakit kulit (P value = 0,000 < 0,05) dengan nilai spearman correlation 0,295 yang artinya hubungan antar dua variabel lemah. Ada hubungan antara pemakaian alat pelindung diri (APD) dengan kejadian gejala penyakit kulit (P value = 0,000 < 0,05) dan nilai spearman correlation 0,276 yang artinya hubungan antar dua variabel lemah. Diharapkan bagi pemulung agar lebih menjaga personal hygiene dan menggunakan APD saat bekerja. Bagi Puskesmas IV Denpasar Selatan agar memberi penyuluhan terutama tentang pentingnya cuci tangan pakai sabun dan penggunaan APD sepatu boot dan sarung tangan.
