Hubungan Sanitasi Lingkungan Dengan Keberadaan Jentik Nyamuk Terhadap Kejadian DBD di Desa Kesiman Kertalangu Kecamatan Denpasar Timur

Penyakit DBD telah menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat terutama di kota besar. Salah satu faktor terkait peningkatan kasus DBD yaitu sanitasi lingkungan. Desa Kesiman Kertalangu merupakan daerah endemis DBD karena terdapat kasus DBD selama kurun waktu 4 tahun terakhir. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan crosssectional, yang dilakukan pada bulan Februari-Mei. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui hubungan anatara sanitasi lingkungan dengan keberadaan jentik nyamuk terhadap kejadian DBD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 60% responden memiliki sanitasi yang kurang baik, 30% memiliki sanitasi yang cukup baik dan 10% memiliki sanitasi yang baik. Mengenai hasil pemeriksaan jentik diketahui bahwa 34 rumah responden masih ditemukan jentik nyamuk. Berdasarkan perhitungan Chi Square test, diperoleh sig 0,00 (P<0,05) yang merupakan ada keterkaitan antara sanitasi lingkungan dengan keberadaan jentik nyamuk. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan pengelolaan lingkungan meliputi kegiatan pencegahan dan pemantauan pada tempat-tempat penampungan air.
