Perbedaan Ovitrap Indeks Botol, Ember dan Port Mosquito Trap sebagai Perangkap Nyamuk Aedes sp. di Area Kantor Kesehatan Pelabuhan Kelas II Samarinda Wilayah Kerja Sangatta Kabupaten Kutai Timur

Penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) atau Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) merupakan penyakit akibat infeksi virus dengue yang masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat. Penyakit ini ditemukan hampir di semua negara terutama negara-negara tropik dan subtropik sebagai penyakit endemik maupun epidemic. Di Indonesia sendiri, Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) telah menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat selama 41 tahun terakhir.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas perbandingan antara Ovitrap dari botol plastik, ember plastik, dan Port Mosquito Trap (PM Trap) berdasarkan nilai Ovitrap indeks. Selain itu penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan sumbangsih terhadap inovasi, kajian dan pengembangan teknologi pada kantor kesehatan pelabuhan khususnya dalam pengendalian penyakit berbasis vektor nyamuk di kabupaten Kutai Timur Propinsi Kalimantan Timur.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ovitrap yang terbanyak positif jentik adalah jenis Ovitrap dari ember plastik yakni sebanyak 12 (66,67%), kemudian PM Trap sebanyak 10 (55,56%) dan terendah adalah botol plastik bekas yakni sebanyak 3 (16,67%) dari masing-masing 18 Ovitrap yang terpasang.
