Pengaruh Pelatihan Pengelolaan Sampah Terhadap Penurunan Volume Sampah di Lingkungan Balleanging Kabupaten Bulukumba

Hingga saat ini sampah masih menjadi masalah serius di Indonesia. Perilaku dan kebiasaan masyarakat atau individu untuk mengelola sampah belum mengarah kepada perilaku yang positif seperti membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan pengelolaan sampah terhadap penurunan volume sampah di Lingkungan Balleanging Kabupaten Bulukumba. Metode: kuantitatif, desain: Quasi-Eksperiment (eksperimen semu). Sampel sebanyak 30 responden, metode penarikan sampel: teknik purposive sampling. Hasil: Tingkat pemilahan dan pewadahan sampah responden sebelum pelatihan dalam kategori kurang dan setelah pelatihan dalam kategori baik. Rata-rata volume sampah rumah tangga setelah pelatihan lebih kecil dari rata-rata volume sampah sebelum pelatihan. Pemberian pelatihan pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga berpengaruh terhadap penurunan volume sampah di Lingkungan Balleanging Kabupaten Bulukumba dengan nilai p=0,000. Diharapkan agar pemerintah setempat menyediakan kontainer sampah dan menyelenggarakan kegiatan sosialisasi maupun pelatihan pengelolaan sampah serta melakukan pengawasan terhadap aktivitas pengelolaan sampah agar masyarakat dapat lebih meningkatkan partisipasinya dalam mengelola sampah.
