Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) telah dinyatakan sebagai global pandemic oleh World Health Organization (WHO) sejak Maret 2020. Penetapan tersebut didasarkan pada sebaran 118 ribu kasus yang menjangkiti di 114 negara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan, pekerjaan, tingkat penghasilan, potensi bahaya terpapar, pengetahuan dan sikap dengan tindakan pencegahan Covid-19 pada masyarakat Sulawesi Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional study. Adapun kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan, pekerjaan, penghasilan, potensi bahaya terpapar dengan tindakan pencegahan Covid-19 pada masyarakat Sulawesi Selatan. Adapun tingkat penge-tahuan dan sikap memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan tindakan pencegahan Covid-19 pada masyarakat Sulawesi Selatan. Karenanya, perlu edukasi lebih lanjut mengenai informasi penyakit covid-19 yang spesifik, valid dan tepat sasaran agar dapat meningkatkan tindakan pencegahan masyarakat.
