Analisis Determinan Kepatuhan Pengobatan Pada Penderita Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2

Masalah kepatuhan pengobatan masih menjadi masalah medis serius yang dihadapi tenaga profesional kesehatan. WHO telah melaporkan bahwa sebanyak 50% pasien dengan penyakit kronis tidak memakai obat-obatan mereka sesuai resep dokter dan Indonesia menunjukkan hanya dua pertiga saja dari yang terdiagnosis yang menjalani pengobatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui determinan yang berhubungan dengan kepatuhan pengobatan pada penderita diabetes mellitus tipe 2 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Antang Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional study yang dilaksanakan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Antang pada bulan Februari-Maret 2018 dengan jumlah sampel 127 penderita DM Tipe 2. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara menggunakan kuesioner yang telah tervalidasi. Data dianalisis secara univariat menggunakan distribusi frekuensi, analisis bivariat menggunakan uji chi square, dan analisis multivariat menggunakan uji regresi logistik berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penderita DM Tipe 2 sebagian besar patuh terhadap pengobatan yaitu sebesar 63%. Determinan yang berhubungan dengan kepatuhan pengobatan pada penderita DM tipe 2 adalah status pekerjaan (p= 0,002<0,05; OR=3,350 95%CI 1,552-7,232), komplikasi DM Tipe 2 (p= 0,003<0,05; OR=0,310 95%CI 0,140-0,685), pengetahuan (p= 0,041<0,05; OR=2,750 95%CI 1,017-7,436), Health Locus Of Control (HLOC) internal (p= 0,000<0,05; OR=6,160 95%CI 2,565-14,791), dukungan keluarga (p= 0,003<0,05; OR=7,600 95%CI 2,725-21,199), dukungan tenaga kesehatan (p=0,000<0,05; OR=24,139 95%CI 3,002-194,131). Dukungan tenaga kesehatan merupakan determinan yang paling berhubungan dengan kepatuhan pengobatan diabetes mellitus tipe 2 (p= 0,018<0,05 ; OR=13,746 95% CI 1,554-121,617).
