Abstract
Digital development plays a very significant role in response to the 4.0 industrial revolution. However, the dual role of authorities, namely Bank Indonesia (BI) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK), poses regulatory challenges that need to be managed synergistically. This study aims to analyze the institutional roles of BI and OJK in applying the Prudential Banking Principle in the supervision of digital Islamic banks. The method used is normative juridical with a descriptive and regulatory analysis approach. The results of the study show that the prudential principle has been accommodated in various national regulations, but its implementation in the field still faces operational obstacles, particularly in the aspects of cyber security, information technology governance, and risk management. The impact of this requires regulatory harmonization and an integrated implementation strategy between BI and OJK to strengthen a safe, inclusive, and sharia-compliant Islamic banking digital ecosystem.
