DETERMINAN TINGKAT PENGANGGURAN TERBUKA DI PROVINSI BANTEN TAHUN 2020-2024: ANALISIS DATA PANEL

Abstrak
Penelitian ini berjudul “Determinan Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka Di Provinsi Banten Tahun 2020-2024: Analisis Data Panel”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan dan pengaruh pendidikan, upah minimum kabupaten/kota (UMK), jumlah penduduk usia produktif dan tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja (TPAK) terhadap tingkat pengangguran terbuka (TPT) Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Banten. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis kuantitatif yaitu analisis regresi data panel dengan periode tahun 2020-2024 dan 8 Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Banten. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa secara parsial, variabel pendidikan dan upah minimum kabupaten/kota (UMK) memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat pengangguran terbuka Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Banten. Sementara itu, variabel jumlah penduduk usia produktif dan tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja (TPAK) tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat pengangguran terbuka (TPT) Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Banten. Secara simultan atau bersama-sama, variabel pendidikan, upah minimum kabupaten/kota (UMK), jumlah penduduk usia produktif dan tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja (TPAK) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat pengangguran terbuka (TPT) Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Banten.

Abstract
This study is entitled “Determinants of the Open Unemployment Rate in Banten Province 2020-2024: A Panel Data Analysis”. This study aims to determine the trends and the effects of education, regency/city minimum wage (UMK), productive-age population, and labor force participation rate (TPAK) on the open unemployment rate (TPT) across regencies/cities in Banten Province. This study employs a quantitative analysis method, specifically panel data regression analysis, covering the 2020-2024 period and 8 regencies/cities in Banten Province. The results of this study find that, partially, the variables of education and regency/city minimum wage (UMK) have a negative and significant effect on the open unemployment rate across regencies/cities in Banten Province. Meanwhile, the variables of the productive-age population and labor force participation rate (TPAK) do not have a significant effect on the open unemployment rate (TPT) across regencies/cities in Banten Province. Simultaneously, the variables of education, regency/city minimum wage (UMK), productive-age population, and labor force participation rate (TPAK) have a significant effect on the open unemployment rate (TPT) across regencies/cities in Banten Province.
