Abstract
Quality public service is a fundamental pillar in achieving community welfare and good governance. This study aims to comprehensively analyze empirical findings on the influence of facilities and service quality on public satisfaction across various sectors. The research employs a literature study method by reviewing ten scientific articles that discuss the relationship between infrastructure, service performance, and user satisfaction in government institutions, health centers, and public transportation services in Indonesia. The results indicate that the availability of adequate facilities, cleanliness, accessibility, and continuous maintenance are key determinants of public satisfaction. Moreover, public perception of service quality is shaped by employee performance, management transparency, and the quality of social interaction within public spaces. Most reviewed studies confirm that both physical facilities and non-physical aspects such as staff professionalism and communication quality significantly influence user perception and satisfaction levels. Overall, this study concludes that improving the quality of public services requires an integrative approach combining infrastructure development with participatory and responsive management. The synergy between proper facilities and accountable service governance is essential to establish public spaces that are inclusive, efficient, and oriented toward community satisfaction.
