IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM ONE PESANTREN ONE PRODUK (OPOP) DALAM MENINGKATKAN EKONOMI PESANTREN BATA BATA, DESA PANAAN, KECAMATAN PALENGAAN, KABUPATEN PAMEKASAN

Abstrak
Pesantren sebagai wadah berdirinya beberapa lembaga antara lain lembaga pendidikan, ekonomi, sosial, dan lembaga dakwah. Sejarah mencatat bahwa awal mula berdirinya pesantren berawal dari sejarah perdagangan yang kemudian berkembang dan merambah pada sektor pendidikan dan dakwah Islam, sedangkan ekonomi dan politik berawal dari tradisi serta tatanan masyarakat muslim Indonesia sehingga pesantren berperan penting dalam mewujudkan perubahan dan mengentaskan kemiskinan serta pemberdayaan ekonomi pada para santri. Pesantren dianggap memiliki kekuatan menjadi penggerak pada sektor industri halal untuk mendukung perekonomian nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan memaparkan data secara deskriptif, dengan pendekatan ini peneliti ingin menjelaskan secara deskriptif. Sedangkan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif yakni data yang dikumpulkan berupa kata, gambar dan bukan angka-angka, dimana peneliti memaparkan yang terjadi di lapangan dengan mendeskripsikan melalui data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian, selain itu metode penelitian ini lebih mempermudah peneliti agar lebih dekat dengan subjek dan peka terhadap apa yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program OPOP telah diimplementasikan secara aktif melalui berbagai unit usaha produktif yang melibatkan seluruh elemen pesantren, termasuk pengasuh dan alumni. Pelaksanaan program mengadopsi pendekatan community-based development dan pendidikan kewirausahaan, menjadikan pesantren sebagai pusat pemberdayaan ekonomi. Proses implementasi berlangsung secara sistematik, mencakup pelatihan santri, produksi, hingga pemasaran, serta didukung oleh kemitraan dengan instansi terkait. Program ini berhasil mendorong kemandirian pesantren dalam tiga aspek: ekonomi, pendidikan, dan sosial, yang mencerminkan prinsip socio-preneurship. Meskipun demikian, program masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, permodalan, strategi pemasaran, dan pelatihan. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya penguatan kapasitas internal dan sinergi eksternal untuk memastikan keberlanjutan program OPOP di lingkungan pesantren.

Abstract
Pesantren serve as institutions that encompass educational, economic, social, and religious functions. Historically, pesantren originated from trade-based activities and later expanded into Islamic education and missionary work. The economic and political roles of pesantren emerged from traditions and the structure of Indonesian Muslim society. As such, pesantren play a crucial role in driving social change, alleviating poverty, and empowering the santri through economic initiatives. They are also recognized as potential drivers of the halal industry to support national economic development. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive data presentation. The descriptive method aims to present findings in the form of words and images rather than numerical data, allowing the researcher to explain what occurs in the field based on observed data. This method also facilitates closer engagement between the researcher and the research subject, enhancing sensitivity to the studied phenomena. The findings reveal that the OPOP program has been actively implemented through various productive business units involving all elements of the pesantren, including caretakers and alumni. The implementation adopts a community-based development model and entrepreneurial education, positioning the pesantren as a center for economic empowerment. The program operates systematically—starting from santri training, production, and marketing and is supported by partnerships with relevant institutions. The OPOP initiative has successfully fostered independence in three key areas: economic, educational, and social, aligning with the concept of socio-preneurship. However, the program still faces several challenges, including limited human resources, capital constraints, underdeveloped marketing strategies, and insufficient training. These findings highlight the need to strengthen internal capacity and enhance external collaboration to ensure the sustainability of the OPOP program within the pesantren environment.
