ABSTRACT
Amid global economic volatility and escalating environmental degradation, modernizing Supply Chain Management (SCM) by integrating digital technology efficiency and ecological sustainability has become highly urgent, especially for the global halal industry, which demands seamless integrity assurance. This article aims to formulate a conceptual integration model that integrates the digital transformation of Industry 4.0 and Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) into an Islamic business ethics framework through the Sharia Value Chain (SVC) approach. The research method adopted was qualitative, with a systematic and integrative literature review approach. Data were collected purposively from reliable scientific literature and then analyzed in-depth using a step-by-step thematic analysis technique, including data reduction, categorization, cross-literature synthesis, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning has been proven to strengthen the Amanah (accountability) pillar by mitigating the risk of delays and eliminating uncertainty (gharar). Meanwhile, the application of green supply chain tactics such as life cycle analysis (LCA) and modular warehouse design aligns with the principle of anti-fasad (preventing damage to the earth). However, a critical paradox was discovered: the use of blockchain technology for transparency actually triggers an ecological dilemma due to its high computational energy consumption. This research provides an original scientific contribution by disrupting the secular-technocratic paradigm of conventional SCM through the instillation of a spiritual-ethical dimension. In conclusion, the implementation of this model confirms that the future of supply chains must shift from a purely material profit orientation to holistic governance to achieve the true benefit oriented towards Maqāṣid al-Sharī‘ah. As a direction for further research, quantitative empirical testing is recommended.
