Abstract
Organizational behavior is a field of study that examines the behavior of individuals and groups within an organization and its influence on organizational effectiveness. Understanding organizational behavior is essential because organizational success is determined not only by resources, technology, and capital, but also by how individuals perform their roles and how organizational culture shapes members’ work behavior. The role of individuals, reflected through motivation, competence, commitment, and responsibility, is a crucial factor in supporting the achievement of organizational goals. Meanwhile, organizational culture functions as a system of values, norms, and beliefs that guides members in interacting and performing their duties. This study aims to analyze organizational behavior through the role of individuals and organizational culture in improving work productivity. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a library research method. Data were collected from relevant national scientific articles and analyzed using content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that individuals with high levels of motivation, competence, and commitment tend to demonstrate more productive work behavior. Furthermore, a strong organizational culture creates a conducive work environment, enhances collaboration, strengthens organizational loyalty, and encourages optimal work productivity. The study also reveals that the synergy between individual roles and organizational culture is a key factor in shaping positive organizational behavior and improving work productivity sustainably. Therefore, organizations need to manage these two aspects in an integrated manner to achieve long-term organizational effectiveness and success.
