About the Journal

OHSS: Occupational Health and Safety Studies, with registered number ISSN XXXX-XXXX (printed) and ISSN XXXX-XXXX (online), is a peer-reviewed journal established in 2020. The journal is published twice a year, in February and August. OHSS serves as an academic platform that comprehensively captures contemporary trends, innovations, and evidence-based practices in occupational health and safety, with a strong emphasis on ethical scholarship and the responsible conduct of research.

OHSS disseminates original research articles, systematic reviews, and critical perspectives covering the science, policy, management, and practice of protecting workers’ health and preventing occupational injuries, illnesses, and fatalities across diverse workplaces and industries. The journal welcomes interdisciplinary contributions addressing topics such as occupational hazard identification and risk assessment, industrial hygiene, occupational epidemiology, ergonomics and human factors, workplace safety management systems, occupational mental health and psychosocial risks, emergency preparedness, personal protective equipment (PPE), safety culture, regulatory compliance, and health promotion in the workplace.
