Peluang Diplomasi Komersial Pemerintah Indonesia dalam Mendorong Energi Bersih

Abstrak

Artikel ini membahas peran dan peluang pembangunan sektor energi bersih melalui diplomasi komersial oleh Pemerintah Indonesia. Pemilihan isu didasarkan pada potensi energi bersih yang belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Selain itu, pasar energi bersih pada tingkat regional dan global juga sangat menjanjikan, mengingat saat ini ketergantungan negara pada energi fosil cukup tinggi. Pada saat yang bersamaan, Indonesia memiliki beragam sumber energi bersih, apabila potensi tersebut dikembangkan dengan baik maka akan mendorong Indonesia sebagai pemain utama pada sektor energi bersih. Tulisan ini menggunakan teori diplomasi komersial dengan fokus pada promosi dan advokasi dagang. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan bahwa skema kerja sama multilateral seperti ASEAN, RCEP, dan APEC yang memiliki atensi dan pasar belum dimanfaatkan oleh pemerintah Indonesia. Selain itu, pada perundingan Paris Agreement, Indonesia tidak banyak menyampaikan kepentingan, keterbatasan infrastruktur dan kapasitas finansial pada sektor energi bersih. Hal tersebut berdampak pada masih jauhnya pencapaian target energi bersih pada tahun 2025 yang dimuat pada dokumen Nationally Determined Contribution.
