Abstract: This paper aimed at describing the development of human capabilities in expressing ideas into writing. The method used was content analysis to study the various references related to the themes. The results were summarized: 1) sys-tematized ideas in writing was influenced by systematized ideas in speech language; 2) the development of the idea was influenced by the acquisition of knowledge; 3) developing writing literacy were through literacy knowledge; 4) the stronger a person's literacy knowledge, the stronger the possibility to influence others through writing.

Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan perkembangan kemampuan manusia dalam menuangkan pengetahuannya ke dalam tulisan. Metode yang digunakan adalah content analysis dengan mempelajari berbagai referensi yang terkait dengan tema. Hasilnya disimpulkan: 1) sistimatika gagasan dalam tulisan dipengaruhi oleh sistimatika gagasan dalam bahasa tutur; 2) pengembangan gagasan dipengaruhi oleh penguasaan pengetahuan; 3) literasi tulis berkembang melalui literasi pengetahuan; 4) makin kuat literasi pengetahuan seseorang, makin kuat kemungkinannya untuk mempengaruhi orang lain melalui tulisan.
