Abstract

This research aims to analyze the leadership style of school principals in influencing students to implement religious values, examine the condition of religious culture, and identify obstacles faced by principals at SD Negeri 092 Pagaran Tonga. This qualitative descriptive research involved the principal, one Islamic Education teacher, and one student as subjects. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed through reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the principal applies a democratic leadership style by providing good examples, accepting suggestions, providing motivation, and being firm in leadership. Religious values implemented include separation of students, reading the Qur’an at the beginning of learning, congregational prayers, and commemorating Islamic holidays. These religious values run well with high discipline from students. Obstacles faced include students who still do not fully comply with regulations, which are overcome through advice, warnings, and meetings with parents.
