The Trade, Hotel, and Restaurant (PHR) sector is a strategic component of the Indonesian economy and contributes significantly to Gross Domestic Product. Its capital-intensive nature and high labor absorption require long-term financing support, including from Islamic banking. This study analyzes the determinants of PHR sector financing based on Islamic contract types in Indonesia. The study uses annual panel data from eight Islamic commercial banks for 2010–2024 and a static panel regression approach. The novelty lies in classifying PHR financing into murabahah, mudharabah, and musyarakah contracts. The results show that Non-Performing Financing has a negative and significant effect across all financing types. Return on Assets and total assets positively affect mudharabah and musyarakah financing, while the Equivalent Rate of Financing positively influences murabahah and mudharabah. Macroeconomic variables are not significant. These findings indicate that PHR sector financing is primarily driven by internal banking factors rather than macroeconomics.
