Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Family Welfare Empowerment Program, specifically Working Group (POKJA) II, in  enhancing the economic creativity of the community in Romanglompoa Village, Bontomarannu Subdistrict, Gowa Regency. The program focuses on improving community skills through various training programs, such as food processing, handicrafts, and sewing, with the aim of promoting family economic self-reliance. However, its implementation still faces challenges such as low community participation as well as limited mentoring and facilities. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the Family Welfare Empowerment Program’s Working Group (POKJA) II has proceeded fairly well, though not yet optimally. The program has placed greater emphasis on training activities than on follow-up mentoring, so the skills acquired have not yet fully developed into sustainable businesses. Nevertheless, this program has had a positive impact on improving community knowledge and skills. The obstacles encountered include low participation, limited resources, a lack of mentoring, and limitations in product marketing
