About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Jurnal Biotek is a journal that contains scientific articles of research results in the field of biology and biological education. The scopes of Jurnal Biotek are as follows:
- Design and learning models in biology education
- Evaluation of biology education
- Development and application of learning sources and media in biology education
Peer Review Process
Every manuscript submitted to Jurnal Biotek is independently reviewed by at least two reviewers in the form of "peer-review". It is due to increase the quality of articles. Decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is mostly based upon their reports/recommendation. In certain cases, the editor may submit an article for review to another, third reviewer before making a decision, if necessary. The Editorial Team, however, reserves the right to make the final decision on the status of the manuscript with regard to publication.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
This journal charges the following author fees.
Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR)
Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.
Article Publication: 300000.00 (IDR)
If your manuscript is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publication cost.
Authors should submit only original work that is not plagiarized and not has been published or being considered elsewhere. Turnitin will be used by the editorial team to check for simmiliarities of submitted manuscript with existing literatures.
Jurnal Biotek has been publishing scholarly research articles since 2012. Fully supported by Department of Biology Education Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar
The journal is preserving, archiving and disseminate article related to a critical study of biology and biology education.
