PENGARUH BUDAYA SEKOLAH DAN PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM TERHADAP PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI DI SMA NEGERI 7 MAKASSAR

Pendidikan memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik agar menjadi individu yang berilmu, berakhlak, dan memiliki integritas moral yang tinggi. Namun, fenomena degradasi karakter di kalangan generasi muda menuntut adanya pendekatan sistematis dalam pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya sekolah dan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) terhadap pembentukan karakter peserta didik kelas XI di SMA Negeri 7 Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan regresi berganda untuk melihat hubungan antara variabel budaya sekolah, pembelajaran PAI, dan karakter peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya sekolah dan pembelajaran PAI memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Budaya sekolah yang diterapkan melalui kegiatan religius seperti salat berjamaah, membaca Al-Qur’an sebelum pembelajaran, serta kebiasaan positif seperti disiplin dan saling menghormati, terbukti berkontribusi dalam membangun karakter peserta didik. Pembelajaran PAI yang dilakukan dengan metode inovatif, seperti diskusi interaktif dan praktik ibadah, memberikan pengaruh lebih besar dalam membentuk nilai-nilai kejujuran, kedisiplinan, dan tanggung jawab. Analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa 81,5% variasi dalam karakter peserta didik dapat dijelaskan oleh budaya sekolah dan pembelajaran PAI. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi budaya sekolah yang baik dan pembelajaran PAI yang efektif dapat menghasilkan peserta didik yang memiliki karakter unggul.
