Article Publication Charge (APC)

The APC of IDR 500,000 per accepted article is payable only after the manuscript has completed the editorial and peer-review process and has received a formal acceptance decision.

The APC supports the journal’s publication activities, including:

Editorial and production services;

Copyediting and manuscript preparation;

Online publication and article dissemination;

Journal website and platform maintenance;

DOI registration and article metadata management; and

Digital preservation and long-term accessibility.

Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance or publication. Editorial decisions are based solely on the manuscript’s originality, scholarly quality, relevance to the journal’s aims and scope, methodological rigor, research integrity, and contribution to the field.

When Is the APC Payable?

Authors are not required to pay any publication charge at the time of submission.

The APC becomes payable only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. The Editorial Office will provide the relevant payment details and instructions following acceptance.

If a manuscript is rejected, no APC is payable.

Waivers and Discounts

Authors experiencing genuine financial difficulties may contact the Editorial Office to inquire about the possibility of a partial or full APC waiver.

Any waiver or discount request will be considered separately from the editorial evaluation and peer-review process. Requests for financial assistance will not affect the assessment of the manuscript or the final editorial decision.

Transparency and Editorial Independence

ELTIES Journal maintains a clear separation between publication charges and editorial decision-making. Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance, and editorial decisions are not based on an author’s ability or willingness to pay.

ELTIES Journal reserves the right to revise its publication-charge policy. Any changes will be announced transparently on the journal website. Changes to the APC will not be applied retrospectively to manuscripts already accepted under a previous APC policy.
