Publishing Process

ETERNAL (English, Teaching, Learning and Research) follows a structured publishing process to ensure that accepted manuscripts are published accurately, consistently, and in accordance with the journal's editorial and publication ethics standards.

1. Final Acceptance

A manuscript is scheduled for publication only after it has successfully completed the peer review process and received a final acceptance decision from the Editor.

Before production begins, authors may be required to complete any outstanding revisions, declarations, copyright or licensing forms, and other publication requirements.

2. Copyediting and Language Check

Accepted manuscripts undergo editorial and language checks to improve clarity, consistency, grammar, formatting, and adherence to the journal's style.

Editorial changes are intended to improve the presentation of the manuscript without altering its scholarly meaning. Authors may be contacted when clarification or substantive correction is required.

3. Formatting and Typesetting

The accepted manuscript is formatted according to ETERNAL's publication template. The editorial team checks the consistency of headings, tables, figures, references, citations, affiliations, and other article elements.

The article is also assigned the appropriate bibliographic and publication metadata.

4. Author Proofreading

Before publication, authors receive the final proof of their article for checking.

Authors are expected to carefully review the proof and report typographical, factual, or formatting errors within the period specified by the editorial office. At this stage, changes should normally be limited to necessary corrections rather than substantial revisions to the manuscript.

5. Final Quality Control

Before publication, the editorial team conducts a final quality check to ensure that the article is complete and that the title, author information, abstract, keywords, references, figures, tables, and other metadata are accurate and consistent.

Where applicable, the editorial team also checks the article's DOI and other publication metadata.

6. Online Publication

Once final checks have been completed, the article is published online as part of the appropriate issue of ETERNAL.

ETERNAL is published twice a year, in June and December. Articles are assigned to an issue according to the journal's publication schedule and editorial planning.

7. Post-Publication Corrections

ETERNAL is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of its published content. If an error is identified after publication, the editorial team will assess the issue and determine whether a correction, editorial notice, or other appropriate action is required.

Any post-publication action will be handled transparently and in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies.

ETERNAL aims to make the publishing process efficient, transparent, accurate, and academically rigorous, while ensuring that every published article meets the journal's standards of scholarly quality and publication integrity.
