Research Misconduct and Conflict of Interest
Allegations of Research Misconduct
Al-Risalah: Jurnal Ilmu Syariah dan Hukum takes all allegations of research misconduct seriously, including plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, duplicate publication, authorship manipulation, and other violations of research and publication ethics. All allegations will be assessed fairly and objectively based on available evidence, with relevant parties given an opportunity to respond. Where necessary, the journal may consult independent experts or the authors' affiliated institutions and take appropriate action, including manuscript rejection, correction, expression of concern, or retraction, in accordance with applicable publication ethics standards and relevant COPE guidelines.
Conflict of Interest
Al-Risalah: Jurnal Ilmu Syariah dan Hukum requires authors, editors, and reviewers to disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest that may influence their research, manuscript evaluation, or editorial decisions. Conflicts may include financial, professional, institutional, or personal relationships. Editors and reviewers with relevant conflicts must withdraw from the evaluation process when impartiality cannot be ensured. Authors must include a conflict-of-interest declaration in their manuscripts. If no conflict exists, authors should state: “The authors declare that they have no known competing financial interests or personal relationships that could have appeared to influence the work reported in this article.”
