Manuscript Types
The Bulletin of Economic Studies (BEST) welcomes original research manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of economic knowledge and practice, particularly in the field of applied economics. Submitted manuscripts must be relevant to the journal’s focus and scope and demonstrate sound theoretical foundations, appropriate research methods, and meaningful contributions to economic research and policy.
BEST considers the following types of manuscripts:
-
Original Research Articles
Articles presenting original empirical or theoretical research that contributes to the development of economic knowledge, policy analysis, and practical solutions to economic problems. -
Review Articles
Articles providing a critical and systematic synthesis of existing literature on relevant economic topics, offering new insights, identifying research gaps, and suggesting directions for future research.
All manuscripts must be original, must not have been published previously, and must not be under consideration for publication by another journal. Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the journal’s focus and scope, author guidelines, and official manuscript template.
BEST prioritizes full manuscripts written in English. Authors are strongly encouraged to consult the journal’s author guidelines and download the official manuscript template before submitting their manuscripts.
