Author Guidelines

DINUNA Journal of Religious Studies accepts manuscripts focusing on interreligious discourse, comparative theology, religious philosophy, sociology of religion, ritual studies, religious media, and other themes related to religious expressions and their intersections with contemporary society.

Manuscript Components:

  • Title, Author Name, Affiliation, and Email
  • The title must be written in CAPITAL LETTERS and bold.
  • Each author's full name must be clearly stated, followed by institutional affiliation.
  • A corresponding email address must be provided.

Abstract

  • The abstract must reflect the original idea, main argument, and scholarly significance.
  • Length: 140–170 words.
  • Include 2–4 keywords.
  • Use Cambria, font size 12, single spacing, italicized.
  • Abstract must be written in English or one of the official UN languages (preferred).

Manuscript Format and Style

  • Manuscripts must be written in English or one of the six official languages of the United Nations: Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish.
  • Format: MS Word (.doc or .docx), Cambria, font size 12, 1.0 spacing.
  • Margins: 2,54 cm on all sides, A4 paper size.
  • Length: 8-20 pages (including references).
  • All non-English terms must be italicized.
  • Abbreviations must be defined upon first usage.
  • Images, graphs, and tables must be in black and white only.

  4. Analysis/Discussion
  5. Conclusion
  6. Bibliography

Review and Editorial Decision

All submissions are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process.
Authors will receive editorial decisions in one of the following categories:
Rejected, Accepted with Major Revisions, Accepted with Minor Revisions, or Accepted for Publication.

Reference Style

All citations and references must follow the APA Style (7th edition).
The use of reference management tools like Mendeley or Zotero is recommended.

Privacy Statement

Every manuscript submitted to DINUNA Journal of Religious Studies is reviewed confidentially by at least two reviewers. Final publication decisions are based on peer review recommendations. In some cases, the editor may invite an additional reviewer to ensure fairness and academic quality.
