Publishing Process

The publication process at DINUNA Journal of Religious Studies is designed to ensure transparency, academic quality, and ethical integrity throughout the editorial workflow. The following stages outline how each manuscript is handled from submission to publication:

Manuscript Submission

Authors must submit their manuscripts through the journal's online submission system. All submissions must adhere to the journal’s author guidelines and be written in English or another official UN language.

Initial Screening

The editorial team conducts a preliminary check to evaluate the manuscript’s relevance, originality, and adherence to ethical and formatting standards. Manuscripts that do not meet basic requirements may be desk-rejected.

Peer Review

Submissions that pass the initial screening will undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two qualified reviewers. The review focuses on academic rigor, clarity, contribution to the field, and methodological soundness.

Editorial Decision

Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editor will make one of the following decisions: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject. Revised manuscripts may undergo further rounds of review if necessary.

Revision and Resubmission

Authors are expected to address reviewer comments carefully and submit a revised version along with a response letter explaining the changes made.

Final Acceptance and Copyediting

Once accepted, the manuscript undergoes language editing, formatting, and layout to ensure consistency with the journal's publication standards.

Publication
The final version of the article is published online in the assigned issue of the journal. All published articles are freely accessible and promoted through academic indexing.
