This study aims to analyse the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in improving leadership effectiveness in the era of digital transformation. The method used is a literature review by synthesising findings from various academic sources related to the application of AI in the context of leadership. The results show that AI plays an important role in supporting strategic decision-making, automating administrative tasks, and providing data-driven insights that enable leaders to be more adaptive to environmental changes. In addition, AI also encourages the development of adaptive and inclusive leadership models by helping leaders identify patterns, opportunities, and risks that are difficult to detect through traditional methods. However, the integration of AI in leadership practices also presents challenges such as algorithmic bias, ethical issues, and the need for increased digital literacy. This research concludes that while AI has the potential to revolutionise leadership effectiveness, leaders need to continue to develop new competencies and implement responsible strategies to maximise the potential of AI. Strategic recommendations are provided for organisations and leaders to create adaptive, innovative and highly competitive work environments in the digital age.
