  • Announcement of Publication Frequency Change

    We are pleased to share an important update regarding the publication schedule of Mazahibuna: Jurnal Perbandingan Mazhab.

    Beginning with Volume 8 in 2026, Mazahibuna: Jurnal Perbandingan Mazhab will transition from a biannual to a triannual publication schedule. The journal will now publish three issues each year in the following months:

    • Issue 1 – April
    • Issue 2 – August
    • Issue 3 – December

    This change reflects the increasing interest and growing number of high-quality manuscript submissions received by the journal. In response to this positive development, the editorial team has decided to expand the publication frequency in order to better accommodate scholarly contributions and strengthen academic dissemination.

    We believe that this transition will enhance the journal’s role in providing timely publication opportunities and advancing scholarly discussions in the field of Islamic legal studies and comparative madhhab studies.

    We sincerely thank our authors, reviewers, readers, and academic partners for their continued support and trust in Mazahibuna: Jurnal Perbandingan Mazhab. We look forward to publishing more impactful research in the years ahead.

    CALL FOR PAPER

    Mazahibuna: Jurnal Perbandingan Mazhab

    We invite researchers, practitioners, and academics to submit their best scholarly articles in the field of empirical research on Islamic law, with a particular focus on comparative madhhab studies and legal analysis. Submissions are expected to contribute significantly to the global discourse on Islamic legal studies.

    Accepted articles will be published in Volume 8, scheduled for June and December 2026.

    Please read and understand the author's guidelines for the preparation manuscript (downloadable at: Template and Author Guidelines). If the submitted manuscript does not comply with the guidelines or uses a different format, it will be rejected by the editorial team before being reviewed. The editorial team will only accept a manuscript that meets the specified formatting requirements.

    Prospective authors should submit the manuscript ONLY by submission system at: http://journal.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/mjpm/index. We DO NOT accept any submissions via email at all.
