Mazahibuna: Jurnal Perbandingan Mazhab is an academic journal published by Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar. Established in 2019, the journal provides a forum for researchers, practitioners, and academics working on empirical and theoretical studies in Islamic law, particularly comparative madhhab studies and legal systems in Islamic countries, with a specific emphasis on Indonesia.
Adopting a transnational approach, the journal examines comparative dynamics of Islamic law in relation to contemporary global challenges. Its scope encompasses Islamic Law, Customary Law, Usul Fiqh, Fatwa Review, Constitutional Law, Islamic Politics, Humanitarian Law and International Law, Sociological Law, Interpretation of Legal Verses (Tafsīr Aḥkām), and Legal Hadith (Ḥadīth al-Aḥkām).
The journal accepts manuscripts in Indonesian and English and prioritizes research-based contributions. Beginning with Volume 8 in 2026, it publishes three issues annually in April, August, and December.
